Multiple exposures threatened by fire

JURUPA VALLEY: On 12/14/2020 at 12:30PM, CalFire/Riverside County Fire Department was dispatched to a residential structure fire in 5200 Block of Rutile Street in Jurupa Valley.

First arriving resources reported a single family residence well involved in fire with power lines down and multiple exposures threatened by the fire. Fire crews quickly transitioned to an offensive attack and a second alarm was requested for structure protection.

An interior search of the residence confirmed that all occupants made it out of the home when the fire started.

The house fire was knocked down by 1:15PM with an extended overhaul expected.

A family of 5, 3 adults and two children, were displaced as a result of the fire. Red Cross was contacted to provide support for the family.

At this time, the cause of the fire is under investigation.
