Icy Roads Send Greenwich (CT) Fire Engine Skidding into Pole

A Greenwich fire engine skidded on an icy road and ran into a utility pole early Thursday while responding to a call.

Firefighters involved in the crash were taken to the hospital as a precaution, Patch.com reports. None were admitted.

The crash occurred on Lake Avenue, which police closed down due to the dangerous conditions.
