Beauregard Volunteer Fire Department – BVFD Was Dispatched for an Unknown Type Fire. While Responding the Incident was Upgraded to a 10-70 Structure Fire (Fully Engulfed). We then Requested a Neighboring Dept ( Southwest Volunteer Fire Dept. ) to Respond Mutual Aid for Manpower. Upon Arrival 200 Units Found a Large Hay Barn Fully Engulfed. We then set up Exterior Ops with a Portable Water Monitor, and Requested another neighboring dept. ( Salem Volunteer Fire Dept. )
Mutual Aid for Tankers. BVFD Responded with 1 Engine, 2 Tankers, 1 Brush Truck, and 9 Personnel SWVFD Responded with 1 Engine, and 6 Personnel SVFD Responded with 1 Tanker, and 2 Personnel Firefighters were on Scene for approx. 6 1/2 Hours, Using Approx. 56,000 Gallons of Water.
