Four-Alarm Fire Destroys Four Buildings in Mount Angel (OR)

Four buildings were destroyed, but no injuries were reported.

More than 120 firefighters on 35 apparatus used an estimated 1 million gallons of water to fight a four-alarm Saturday-morning fire at 200 South Main Street that ravaged several Mount Angel (OR) businesses.

Firefighters from the Mount Angel Fire District were dispatched at 12:49 a.m. to find the building fully engulfed in flames. Help was then requested, and crews from Silverton, Woodburn, Marion County, Hubbard, Monitor, Stayton, and St. Paul joined.

Four buildings were destroyed, but no injuries were reported. Its cause remains unknown.
