All Hands
Date: 9/15/2020
Location: 19th Street across from Astoria Park.
Just before 2:00 p.m. FDNY Queens dispatchers informed the 49 Battalion that they were receiving numerous phone calls reporting a house fire near Astoria Park.
Engine 262 arrived first and confirmed the fire by transmitting an urgent 10-75 (code for a full first alarm assignment).
The officer of 262 forced entry and along with other companies knocked down the fire and searched for victims. Luckily nobody was injured during this job.
