Rainman14 – At around 7:50 pm, crews were called to a fire alarm at Evans food distribution.
Upon arrival was upgraded to a structure fire. Crews found heavy smoke in the building and transmitted a working fire. Crews could not find the fire yet smoke was to the ground, so crews backed out, and shortly afterwards a second-alarm was struck.
Multiple RIT teams and ambulances were dispatched as well as rehab, canteen, and an air unit.
Crews were ordered to evacuate the building as fire burned throughout the building in unknown locations. A third-alarm was struck for more units and brought even more manpower to relieve the firefighters before them.
The first video and the last video are about four hours apart. The Bern Township Fire burned until 6 am.
