Firefighter rescues flag at two-alarm fire

sparkywfd – Watch the first lines put into operation as firefighters are met with heavy fire conditions in the rear of a structure that spread throughout the home and through the roof. A second alarm was ordered on arrival.

Firefighters were forced to evacuate the building and fight the fire from the exterior as fire took over the house. No injuries were reported and it took firefighters about an hour to bring the fire under control.

During the fire, a Milford fire went back into the burning home and grabbed the American flag that was hanging in the porch so it wouldn’t be damaged by the fire.
