FireRescue 50 – Engine 502 responding to a reported fire on Woodhall Drive.
As we pulled off the pad, Assistant 50 arrived and advised of a working fire in the attached garage.
We arrived, stretched a 2-1/2″ to the garage, and a 1-3/4″ through the front door. The Tower arrived right behind us as we were getting a water supply, and they set up to prepare for aerial operations.
Engine 54-2 arrived and pulled a backup line to help extinguish the fire in the garage, while Rescue 57 arrived and took RIT operations. Truck 57 and Truck 50 handled ground ladders while other units went to manpower staging.
Station 50 was assisted by Stations 54, 57, 59, 55, and Lancaster City Fire.
Engine 53-2 and Tower 63 relocated to the 50 house while we operated at the scene.
Station 50 had every piece out of the station within 10 minutes of dispatch.
Crews knocked the fire, ventilated, checked for extension, and performed overhaul before clearing.
