Fire Through the Roof

Oklahoma City Fire Department – House Fire 2300 Blk. S. Missouri Ave. 3/22/2019 6:24 a.m.

Just before sun up on the morning of March 22nd, Firefighters responded to the report of a house fire. On arrival crews found a single story residence with heavy fire throughout the entire structure and venting through the roof. There were 8 people home (4 adults and 4 children) when the fire started, all of which self-evacuated prior to our arrival. Firefighters attacked the blaze in a defensive posture until the fire was knocked down and it was safe to transition to an interior attack. The home was declared a total loss and all 8 occupants were transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.
