Fire Destroys 10 Buildings in Downtown Las Vegas (NV)

A fire that swept through 10 buildings in downtown Las Vegas early Sunday morning left hundreds of people displaced.

A Las Vegas Fire & Rescue crew returning from a call noticed smoke in the sky around 1 a.m. on E. Charleston Blvd.

They found a building under construction inside a condominium complex at 200 Tower St. fully engulfed in flames. THe fire was threatening nearby condiniums.

Firefighters alerted nearby condominiums that the fire was endangering their properties and advised them to evacuate.

The fire was under control by 6 a.m. but not before it damaged at least ten buildings in the area.
