A firefighter was injured Wednesday morning when fire broke out at a hotel in Toledo at about 5 a.m.
The fire was reported on the third floor and attic of the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott on Benore Road.
The guests and employees escaped injury as firefighters chased the flames for over two hours, hampered by 25-mile-per-hour winds in the area.
A firefighter was reportedly injured when a ceiling fan came down and struck him. He was transported to the hospital, but the injuries are not serious.
