Disney’s ‘Snow White’ Set Catches Fire at Pinewood (UK) Studio

Fire broke out Tuesday at Disney’s “Snow White” soundstage at Pinewood Studios in the U.K.

The stage was under construction for a live-action version of the cartoon classic when a tree reportedly caught fire, Variety reported.

Massive plumes of black smoke were seen billowing through the Slough set of the movie which will star Gal Gadot and Rachel Zegler.

The Sun newspaper published a clip that shows parts of the set crashing from the ceiling in a ball of flames before the seven dwarf’s thatched cottage caught fire.

In the video worker is heard saying: “A tree caught on fire, I don’t know how”. No injuries are reported in the fire.

It’s the second fire at the legendary studio in six months. A soundstage also caught fire there in November.
