Current Fire Research

Fire Engineering – Host P.J. Norwood will be joined by guests Steve Kerber, Director of UL-FSRI, Chad Christenson, Captain, Los Angeles County (CA) Fire Department and Nick Papa, Lieutenant, New Britain (CT) Fire Department. 

They will be discussing the current fire research, specifically the Impact of Fire Attack Utilizing Interior and Exterior Streams on Firefighter Safety and Occupant Survival and the Coordinated Fire Attack Utilizing Acquired Structures research.  

All of today’s guests are members of one or more of the fire service technical panel and have been involved from the ground up in these projects.
