Rescuers capsized during a search for
a victim
South Metro Fire Rescue – Centennial, Colorado
On this PIO Vlog we follow South Metro Firefighters to a water rescue at Chatfield State Park in Jefferson County, Colorado.
After 90 minutes spent searching for a drowning victim, a thunderstorm created dangerous outflow winds that capsized a rescue boat, sending four personnel into the water.
The rescuers had to be rescued and once the storm passed, recovery operations began.
We also take you to a wildland interface fire in Douglas County where nearly five-acres burned.
Connor and Eric conclude the Vlog with patch shoutouts.
