Connecticut Firefighter Suffers “Severe” Arm Injury in Apartment Fire

EAST HAVEN, Connecticut – A firefighter suffered a “severe” arm injury during an apartment fire on Wednesday, according to the New Haven Register.

The East Haven Public Safety Dispatcher Center received multiple calls at approximately 5:00 p.m. from neighbors of a Green Garden Court apartment complex reporting a large structure fire.

Firefighters battled the fire on the first and second floors.

One firefighter was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital for evaluation after sustaining “a severe arm injury,” according to a police. He was listed in stable condition Wednesday night.
