Chula Vista, CA Apartment Fire

911 Video News – To avoid any confusion. There were two fires within 30 minutes of each other and only a block away from each other. In the soundbite from the CVFD Btn Cheif. He will speak about both of these fires. 

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 3-18-19 7:16 am LOCATION: 245 WoodlawnAve CITY: Chula Vista DETAILS: While firefighters were battling a trailer park fire less than a block away, a second fire broke out at an apartment complex. The fire started for unknown reasons inside an apartment on the 2nd floor. 2 people were injured, 1 victim was burned, the other from smoke inhalation (on video). Both were transported to hospitals. Due to the other fire, resources were spread thin and there was difficulty in reaching this fire. A 2nd Alarm was called. A guesstimate from the fire officials is up to 75 people will be displaced as many units have been affected by the fire, smoke, and water. It took much time to put the fire out.
