Initial alarm had a report of people possibly living inside

Harrison County Fire Rescue

The Biloxi Fire Department responded to a storage unit fire with heavy smoke showing and an exposure issue, a house on the Charlie side, Sunday morning. Additional engine and truck companies were called in to attack the fire and cover stations.

First reports were people may have been living in the storage units, but no one was found in the search.

Crews did a very good job under difficult conditions, extinguishing the fire, and protecting the exposures.

No injuries’ were reported and the cause is under investigation.
