Location: Steinway Street, Queens.
Fire broke out on the 3rd floor of a commercial building during a cold January morning on Steinway Street in Astoria, Queens.
Battalion Chief 49 transmitted the 10-75 (code for a working fire) after seeing smoke in the distance.
Crews encountered fire out multiple windows and fire venting out of a shaft on the roof. Luckily as of now there are no reported injuries.
New Today’s Dental & Sitan Muay Thai gym were heavily affected by smoke, fire, and water.
Rescue 4 operates along with Ladder 163, Ladder 116, Engine 263, Engine 312, Ladder 117, Ladder 154, and many others.
