Arlington Heights, IL House Fire

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL (Arlington Cardinal) – Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 6:14 PM Sunday January 27, 2019 to a report of a house fire in the block of 500 North Wilke Road Arlington Heights, IL. 

Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a chimney was on fire. Upon arrival of the first engine on the scene from Rolling Meadows, firefighters reported smoke showing from the chimney area. Firefighters then reported fire showing under the cap of the chimney. Fire also broke through the the front roof gable area. The fire was quickly knocked down by a firefighter with a hose line in the front yard.
