Rob Mabe – Trumann Fire was dispatched for a residential structure fire with people in process of exiting home.
Arriving companies found a fully involved carport on the windward side of the home with extension into the attic/roof truss space.
Crews knocked down fire at the source and completed extinguishment within 10 minutes of arrival.
Aggressive post-fire ventilation and salvage saved much of the residents’ personal belongings and an exposure line kept a neighboring home from receiving damage.
