We Will Always Remember

The Firefighter Behavioral Health Alliance was founded to always remember our brothers and sisters in the fire and EMS service who took their lives.

On May 22, 2015, FBHA will be hosting our first weekend retreat, Those Left Behind, in Savannah, Georgia. This event is for families of firefighters and EMS personnel that have taken their life by suicide.

At 9:00 p.m. EST on May 22, in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, we are asking fire and EMS organizations to place a rig on their driveway and turn on their emergency lights for one minute to express their support for all the families that have suffered a loss. For community members, at the same time, stand in your driveway and light a candle to remember a loved one.

We ask that you take photos or video and send it to us at info@ffbha.org to show all the families of the fallen your support.
