Voter-Approved Tax Funds New St. Louis Apparatus

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – The St. Louis Fire Department wants taxpayers to see where their money is going.

Voters approved Proposition F two years ago, giving the fire department $15 million in funding to buy new equipment and make building improvements.  

“Behind me is proof your fire department has been, and will continue to be good stewards of your hard-earned tax dollars,” Chief Dennis Jenkerson said while flanked by new fire engines. “We want to thank you, the citizens of St. Louis, for provided us with these tools to protect you.
