The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official on-duty death of Fire Captain Mark G. Ratledge, 35, of the Cottonwood Fire Protection District on February 29, 2012.
Fire Captain Ratledge was struck and killed by a vehicle while working at the scene of a traffic collision on Interstate 5.
