Seattle, WA — True North®, the makers of DragonWear® FR clothing, is introducing a new fire resistant product, FR Leg Gaiters. The Gaiters are designed to provide continuous protection between the lower pant leg and the boot for the ultimate fire resistant protection. Not only do the leg gaiters protect you from foul weather and pant legs shredded by thorns, but the fire resistant Nomex/Aramid will also protect you from flash fires or flame and ember burns.

The DragonWear FR Leg Gaiters feature Kevlar®/ Nomex® Rip-stop uppers and waterproof Ara-Shield on the bottom to protect your legs from the harshest conditions. The Gaiters are secured on top with 3/4’” wide FR webbing and buckle and hook to the boot lace on the lower edge. The whole leg gaiter is secured with rip-and-stick 2” wide FR Velcro closures to allow for easy on/off and a tapered ankle design provides a snug fit around the boot.
One of the things True North is known for is working closely with customers to fill a need in the market place. Developing the FR Leg Gaiters was no exception. Working with linemen and attending many Linemen’s Rodeos ensured that the placement of the webbing straps and buckles would not interfere with pole climbing spikes.
