Thief Steals Four Hydrants from California City

A thief stole four fire hydrants in Rancho Cucamonga this morning.

San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputies were checking out an abandoned vehicle near the corner of Banyan Street and Raindrop Place about 4 a.m.

The deputy noticed there were four missing hydrants in the area, said sheriff’s Sgt. Ken Jamieson.

Investigators are looking for the car owner, who is suspected in the thefts.
