The Will-Burt Company, manufacturer of Night Scan, the number one selling light tower in the world for the Emergency Services industry, announces a photo contest that will provide a unique opportunity for its fans to display their artistic talents — as well as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have their photo appear on the official Will-Burt website and ultimately at the booth during the 2013 FDIC.
Show off your department, your fire apparatus and Night Scan Light Tower!
The contest, which launches August 1, calls for fans to submit their best photos of their Will-Burt Night Scan light tower in action with Emergency Services vehicles at a nighttime rescue scene. A new winner will be chosen at the end of each month and featured on The Will-Burt Company’s official website, as well as included as a finalist for the Grand Prize selection at the end of the year, to be displayed at the Will-Burt booth during the 2013 FDIC.
“At Will-Burt, we know that nighttime scene lighting is critical for any fire department,” stated Will-Burt CEO and Chairman, Jeff Evans. “We see this unique campaign as a way to put the spotlight on our customers, showcasing the incredible partnership of Emergency Rescue vehicles and our masts; and how that combination helps to create a safer and more efficient rescue.”
Fans can begin submitting their photos August 1 to the Will-Burt Facebook page. Photos will be judged based on emotional response and artistic merit. In addition, contestants are encouraged to become “fans” of the official Will-Burt Company Facebook fan page, where they can review contest details and view “editor’s pick” submissions throughout the duration of the contest.
The Will-Burt Company requests that all photographers please practice safe photography; do not interfere with emergency crews and be sure to remain outside of all restricted areas when capturing images.
Submissions must be original to the person submitting the photo. Any submissions of a copyright protected or plagiarized image will be disqualified.
