CAMP COUNTY, TX — Four firefighters were injured after a being caught in a garage collapse while battling a house fire.
KLTV reports that Daingerfield firefighters responded to County Road for a house fire. During fireground operations an attached garage collapsed and trapped three firefighters.
Another firefighter working to free the others was also injured.
All the injured were transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center where one firefighter remains hospitalized. The home was reported to be a total loss.
There were no occupants inside at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
