York Township firefighter taken to the ground at scene

YORK COUNTY, Pennsylvania — A York Township firefighter was briefly in handcuffs while at a crash scene after an incident with a trooper, according to CBS21.
On September 29, Pennsylvania State Police Troopers from J Troop, York were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash with entrapment on I-83 at mile marker 16.
Troopers arrived on the scene and found the driver was showing signs of an overdose and was unable to open the car door.
Troopers broke the passenger side window to reach the driver, provide first aid, and administer Narcan.
While the Troopers were administering first aid, firefighters from the York Township fire company arrived on the scene.
CBS21 reports that one firefighter allegedly became upset with the Troopers and began yelling at them.
Troopers ordered the firefighter to leave the scene, but he refused to do so. When a Trooper attempted to escort him away, the firefighter pushed the Trooper.
The firefighter was taken to the ground and handcuffed. He was later released from custody at the scene.
An investigation of the incident is underway.
