CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Four firefighters were injured Thursday morning after the apparatus they were riding in overturned.
WSOC TV reports that the crew of Ladder 32 was responding to a medical call when the ladder truck rolled over. The injured firefighters were transported to Carolinas Medical Center.
A witness told WSOC TV that she was behind the ladder truck and that it flipped while trying to make a turn at an intersection. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating the accident.
A spokesman for the Charlotte Fire Department did not report of speed or brakes were an issue in the crash.
