Firefighters found a body inside a Lexington apartment that caught on fire Friday morning.
The Lexington Fire Department arrived to flames at a four-unit apartment building on Marble Lane about 5 p.m., the department said.
During the fire response, firefighters found a deceased man inside one of the apartments. The cause of death is under investigation.
The fire damage was contained to two apartments. Smoke and water damage affected the rest of the building, the department said. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
