Mail Carrier Discovers N.H. House Fire

MIDDLETON, N.H.– Firefighters say a mail carrier discovered a fire at a house that belonged to a family in Middleton, N.H.

The origin and cause of the fire Wednesday morning are still undetermined. The family wasn’t home at the time and no one was hurt.

Middleton Fire chief Devon Pageau tells Foster’s Daily Democrat (http://bit.ly/xr5inD) they were lucky the mail carrier was around. He said the road near Sunrise Lake is a dead end that houses primarily cottages without year-round residents.
