Jessamine County (KY) Fire Chief Removed over Sexual Harassment Case

The Jessamine County Fire District board of trustees has removed Long time Chief Michael Rupard from his post.

Rupard was accused of sexual harassment and criminal trespassing earlier this year by a woman who took out a restraining order against the 59-year-old chief.

In June he entered an Alford plea in the case, which is not a guilty plea but acknowledges there is enough evidence that he could be found guity.

He will serve two year probation. Jail time for the offences was suspended pending successful completion of probation.
