FireDocket is a simple-to-use calendar for displaying firefighter shift schedules. Available in the iPhone App Store, It supports up to four platoons or shifts at a time and any shift schedule.
It comes preset to a 21-day shift sequence and is easily configured to any other schedule in minutes. All you need is the current month’s schedule that the fire station provided and the length (in days) of the shift sequence.
You’ll also find that you can e-mail a full-year color calendar to whoever you wish (spouses, kids, friends), whenever you wish, so they will know when you are working also.
Unlike most of the other fire calendar applications offered in the App Stores, you only have to pay once – not yearly – and we won’t try to up-sell you into a more fully featured application.
The app doesn’t provide facilities for trading days or marking paydays or noting holidays – but what it does do it does very simply, very fast and very well.
