ImageTrend Launches Statewide Fire Reporting for Mississippi

LAKEVILLE, MINN. – ImageTrend, Inc. announced it will soon launch a statewide fire incident reporting system for the State of Mississippi. The company’s Fire Bridge software will be used to collect data on incidents submitted by its fire departments. The data collected will be available for the type of in-depth analysis that can be used to improve fire safety and reduce fire suppression costs. According to Justin Dillard, product evangelist at ImageTrend, Inc., there is great excitement among the site’s test users. Within hours of setting up the system for initial testing, dozens of users had logged in to see it first-hand.

“We are very proud that Mississippi chose ImageTrend’s solution for fire reporting,” commented Mike McBrady, president of ImageTrend, Inc. “The state has a clear regard for the safety of its residents, businesses and visitors.”

Mississippians have good reason to be excited about using Fire Bridge for their incident reporting: other states using the solution have seen positive results. According to Ramona Dohman of the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, the State of Minnesota reported 99 percent participation from its fire departments in 2012. ImageTrend’s software was noted to make it “easier to extract data, compare numbers and spot patterns.” To improve ease-of-use and further automate workflows, ImageTrend also offers CAD integrations for each department.

The state will have ability to manage its own data and reporting, as well as be able to report to the National Fire Incident Reporting System (NFIRS). In addition to collecting and reporting on data, Fire Bridge is a comprehensive system for fire operations management. Depending on permissions and optional modules, users can manage their department’s staff records including scheduling and certification tracking, issue permits, complete inspections and investigations, and monitor inventory.
