MILFORD, Iowa (AP) – Three people have been rescued after becoming trapped in a second-story bathroom during a fire at a hotel in the northwest Iowa town of Milford.
The Des Moines Register reported (http://bit.ly/pXDS6s ) that firefighters were called to the Rodeway Inn early Friday morning.
One of the individuals who were rescued was taken to a hospital in Spencer. The others were taken to another hospital and treated for smoke inhalation. Their conditions weren’t immediately known.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
The investigation is continuing.
