Fire Service Icon Alan Brunacini Passes Away

Affectionately known in the fire industry as “Bruno,” Brunacini served at all ranks in the Phoenix (AZ) Fire Department, and as the fire chief from 1978-2006. A beloved mentor, instructor, and author, Bruno was instrumental in advancing the concept of fire department customer service, among other topics. 

This week’s Hangout will examine Bruno’s influence on individual firefighters, departments, and the service as a whole.
