Flames and smoke shot into the air as a result of a lumber yard fire outside Indiana on Saturday evening.
The Indiana Fire Association responded to a commercial fire about 5:30 p.m. at Schroth Industries on Martin Road in White, according to Indiana County Emergency Management.
Departments from Clymer, Homer City and Cherryhill responded at 6:11 p.m.
No injuries were reported, a dispatcher said.
Smoke could be seen from Hood School Road, according to the fire department’s Facebook page.
The lumber company, established in 1920, sells lumber supplies to the coal and natural gas industries in addition to some retail sales, according to its website.
