Explosion, Fire at Spokane Medical Office

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) – A medical office building in Spokane has been damaged by a fire and explosion. Officials say no one was hurt in Monday morning’s fire, which broke out about 7 a.m. in the Valley Mission Professional Building.

The two-story building houses dental and oral surgery offices, a pharmacy, obstetrics and gynecology, and other medical professionals.

Witnesses reported an explosion around the time the fire was detected.
