UNION SPRINGS, Ala. (AP) – Bullock County officials say three children have died in an apartment fire in Union Springs.
WSFA-TV reports (http://bit.ly/twMVXW ) that authorities say the blaze swept through two units of Peachburg Road Apartments Monday morning.
Authorities say a 1-year-old girl and twin 4-year-olds, a boy and a girl, died of smoke inhalation.
Officials say firefighters took about 20 minutes to bring the fire under control. They say they don’t know yet how the blaze started.
