DOVER, Del.– Fire officials are trying to determine what caused an explosion near Dover that destroyed one mobile home, damaged 30 others and sent for people to the hospital.
Firefighters were called to the Pinewood Acres Mobile Home Park about 2:20 a.m. Thursday. One mobile home was flattened and the unit next to it was on fire.
The scene was put under control about 3:20 a.m.
One adult and three children were taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.
The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
