FAIRFIELD, Ohio (AP) – Eighteen people have been displaced by a fire at an apartment building north of Cincinnati.
WHIO-TV (http://bit.ly/OOHVSm ) in Dayton reports that the Sunday night fire burned the three-story apartment building in Fairfield.
Authorities said 17 adults and a child were left temporarily homeless by blaze, which damaged 12 of the units. The Red Cross was assisting.
The cause of the fire was undetermined and no damage estimate was immediately available. More than 40 firefighters battled the fire.
