10 Horses Perish in Kentucky Barn Fire

LA GRANGE, Ky. (AP) – Ten horses were killed when a barn caught fire and burned down in Oldham County.

WAVE-TV in Louisville (http://bit.ly/S7Huj3 ) reports that the barn caught fire at about 3:41 a.m. EDT Monday and was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.

No humans were injured in the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Oldham County Fire Chief Jim Sitzler said the horse owners were renting the property.
