Van strikes a car causing other crashes in Manhattan

MANHATTAN, New York – A van collided with a car, crashing into an outdoor dining structure, before crashing into a fruit stand in Manhattan Friday, according to CBS.

Seven people, including two young children, were injured.

The driver of the van had suffered a seizure.

The van first hit a car carrying two people. The collision smashed an empty outdoor dining structure and caused debris to hit the two children.

The van continued onto a sidewalk at East 49th Street and Second Avenue and collided with a fruit stand, injuring three pedestrians.

All of the patients suffered minor injuries and were transported to Bellevue Hospital.
