Worker’s arm caught inside conveyor belt

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma – NewsOn6 and KFOR are reporting on a worker who had to have his arm amputated after being caught in a conveyor belt Thursday.

Firefighters responded to an iron works, scrapyard in the 1500 block of East Reno Avenue for a man whose hand was caught in a conveyor belt.

Firefighters had to call in a surgeon who amputated the worker’s arm near the shoulder in order to free him from the conveyor belt.
