SVIweb – Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the equipment planning that went into DeKalb County’s delivered Hazmat.

DeKalb County chose a 22′ aluminum SVI-body mounted on a 20″ raised roof Sutphen chassis, which houses a powerful Cummins X12 500 HP engine.

This hazardous material unit features a cab/body walk-through connection and comes equipped with a Command Light Knight 2 Series light tower, Weatherpak® TRx2-UHF weather station, OnScene Solutions aluminum cargo slides, Aro Pump Transfer System with 150-gal. storage tank, Carefree Mirage 110-volt slideout awnings and much more.
