Several Rescued from Maryland Apartment Fire

Three-alarm fire in Baltimore County

MIDDLE RIVER, Maryland – Firefighters rescued several occupants during an apartment fire in Baltimore County on Sunday, according to WBAL.

Firefighters responded to the fire at the Commons at White Marsh Apartments at approximately 3:30 p.m.

The three-alarm fire involved two buildings and took firefighter 45 minutes to get under control.

Lightning is believed to have caused the fire with burned 24 units and damaged 16.

The Red Cross is assisting displaced occupants.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
