Philadelphia firefighter dies from COVID-19

The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official on-duty death of Firefighter Eric Gore, 49, of the Philadelphia Fire Department on June 2, 2020.
Firefighter Eric Gore responded to an emergency at a residence where he came in contact with a person with a known case of COVID-19. He subsequently passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 from the virus.
