San Bernardino Co FFs – On Monday, October 28th 2019 at 3:30am SBCoFD was dispatched to a residential structure fire in Division 2. Initial reports stated flames and smoke were seen from a vacant home.

ME224 arrived on scene to find a single story duplex with heavy smoke and fire showing from the end unit. Crews made an aggressive fire attack with multiple hose lines.Firefighters encountered high heat and smoke conditions during initial suppression efforts.

The fire was declared under control in 20 minutes. 5 medic engines, 1 medic truck, 1 medic squad, 1 battalion chief, and 1 fire investigator for a total of 22 personnel on scene with no injuries to suppression personnel. No civilians were injured in the incident.

32 days later on Monday, November 30th at 9:52am. SBCoFD was dispatched to the same address fora residential structure fire. Initial reports stated flames and smoke were seen behind an apartment building, possibly a shed on fire. ME224 arrived on scene to find a vacant elevated structure, fully involved. Crews made a defensive attack with multiple hose lines and declared the fire under control in 15 minutes.

4 medic engines, 1 medic truck, 1 medic squad, 1 battalion chief, and 1 fire investigator for a total of 19 personnel on scene with no injuries to suppression personnel. No civilians were injured in the incident.
