Firefighter Graham suffered an emergency at pump testing

The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official on-duty death of Firefighter Alex Graham, 48, of the District of Columbia Fire and EMS Department on October 27, 2019.

On Thursday, October 24, 2019, Firefighter Alex Graham was conducting pump testing at the D.C. Fire and EMS Training Academy, when he suffered a medical emergency. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where he passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2019, from an aortic dissection.
