Mayday at Four-Alarm Fire in Maryland

Firefighter falls partially through the roof in Dundalk

DUNDALK, Md. – 21 residents have been displaced and a firefighter injured during a four-alarm fire in Dundalk on Tuesday evening.

WJZ reports that the Baltimore County fire on Highshire Court began at approximately 10:30 p.m.

First arriving firefighters saw smoke showing from the rear of the rowhomes and quickly determined fire involved four units.

One firefighter suffered minor injuries when he fell partially through the roof.

The firefighter was able to get out and was evaluated by EMS personnel on the scene.

One occupant was injured in the fire.

The American Red Cross is assisting the displaced occupants. Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
